Helsinki and circular companies featured at the LOOP Forum in April
Business Helsinki will participate in the leading Nordic circular economy business event in Copenhagen on 28–29 April. Nine pioneering circular economy companies will be showcased at the City’s stand.

Rising consumption, global supply chains and security of supply have been widely discussed recently. The circular economy is closely linked to these themes: by keeping raw materials, components and products in circulation for as long as possible, it becomes easier to cope with scarce resources even in times of crisis.
LOOP Forum, held in Copenhagen on 28–29 April 2026, has accordingly chosen “Securing resources for stronger business” as this year’s theme. Business Helsinki will participate in the event for the first time with its own stand, bringing along nine Finnish circular economy companies.
Collaboration opportunities and visibility for circular companies
In its fifth year, the LOOP Forum brings circular solutions developed by cities and companies in the spotlight. The event has become an important meeting place for European businesses, decision-makers, researchers, public organisations and other actors working within the circular economy.
– LOOP Forum offers Helsinki an excellent opportunity to network with other cities and stakeholders working with the circular economy. It is important for us to showcase Helsinki’s own work in accelerating the circular transition, as well as highlight the pioneering product and service solutions of the participating companies on a Nordic stage, says Lari Sirén, Chief Advisor for the circular economy growth sector at Business Helsinki.
The business delegation includes Aisbois, Climecon, Hiil, Lundén Architecture, Peikko, Pictue, Reverlast, Ruokomestarit – Premium Finnish Reed and Spolia Design. The focus on a circular built environment is a natural fit from the perspective of Business Helsinki’s strategic circular economy growth sector.
Showcasing Helsinki’s circular economy testbed activities
In addition to its own stand, Business Helsinki will appear on the Roundtable Stage on the first day of the LOOP Forum with a session entitled Circular Helsinki: From Pilots to Scaled Circular Solutions through Public-Private Partnerships.
In the session, Sirén will explain how Helsinki supports companies in developing circular innovations on the City’s testbeds, and how the best insights from these pilots are applied both within the City’s own operations and across its wider collaboration network.
Business Helsinki will also organise additional programme during the event, including an investor networking session in collaboration with Invest in Skåne, Copenhagen Capacity, Invest in Halland and Potter Clarkson. In addition to attending the LOOP Forum, the delegation will have a chance to visit a selection of Copenhagen’s most interesting circular economy sites.
– Circular economy offers companies a strategic competitive advantage in an operating environment undergoing major transformation, and Nordic companies are leading the way. We hope that the companies in our delegation will find new partners among the actors working towards shared goals, says Mette Hiltunen, Project Manager of the Arabia Circular Hub at Business Helsinki, summarising expectations for participating in the LOOP Forum.
