AI and robotics in healthcare: Submit your solution for international testing facilities

With 52 partners across nine countries, EU TEF-Health serves as a gateway to international testing environments for innovative health sector companies. Small and medium-sized enterprises can submit their solutions to a Europe-wide call for applications.

The City of Helsinki, HUS, and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences participate in international EU TEF-Health activities. EU TEF-Health, which provides both virtual and physical testing and development environments, helps companies bring their AI- and robotics-driven health innovations to market through testing and validation. The service enhances the capabilities of companies at various stages, supporting research, development, and innovation, solution commercialization, and internationalization through ecosystem networks. The initiative is co-funded by the European Union.

EU TEF-Health is seeking new health innovations for testing. Applications are open until the maximum number of service providers is reached or until December 31, 2027.

Available opportunities include:

  • Access to high-quality data, clinical settings, and healthcare infrastructure
  • Expert consulting
  • Physical and virtual testing environments
  • Support from universities, hospitals, and certification bodies

You can apply if:

  • Your SME is legally established in the EU or EEA
  • You are developing AI or robotics solution at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6 or higher
