Greater Helsinki joins world’s top clean technology startup ecosystems

Greater Helsinki has been ranked among the world’s top 25 clean technology, or cleantech, startup ecosystems in the recently released Global Startup Ecosystem Report: Cleantech Edition. The report was compiled by the esteemed startup research and policy advisory organisation Startup Genome.

Innovation challenge for increasing the physical activity of young people – submit your proposal now!

The City of Helsinki has launched an innovation challenge aimed at companies to promote the physical activity of young people. Through the challenge, the City is looking for innovative ways to increase the physical activity of upper secondary students and comprehensively promote well-being.

Get to know the testbed service paths

The City of Helsinki Testbed team and Futurice Oy worked together to design and visualise the service paths of economic development testing activities. The service paths were formulated separately for testing based on the City’s innovation challenges and company-driven experiments.
