Succeed with artificial intelligence: Helsinki supports companies in the FAIR project

The Finnish AI Region, or FAIR, offers businesses expertise in artificial intelligence, augmented reality, high-performance computing, and cybersecurity. As a coordinator of the project, the City of Helsinki strongly enhances societal AI competence.

Promising energy savings with hyperlocal weather forecast

30 percent of the used energy is consumed by buildings, largely for heating and cooling. The initial results of our experiment with a hyperlocal weather station aimed at energy savings in buildings are now available.

Circular economy solutions for construction as a service – propose your solution in the innovation challenge

With this innovation challenge, Helsinki’s circular economy cluster program and the KIRA growth programme are looking for construction services in accordance with the principles of circular economy, which companies in the construction sector could acquire to facilitate the reuse of construction products. The application period ends on 26 April.

Helsinki’s digital twin for mobility is developed further through pilots

Companies participating in the development of Helsinki’s digital twin for mobility received technical support, information about the network’s needs, confidence in the relevance of their work, and the opportunity to develop and test their solutions in a real urban environment.

Companies and RDI actors can recommend their own solution to the City of Helsinki for testing. We review proposals on a regular basis and aim to respond to them as soon as possible. The proposals are treated with confidentiality.
