Helsinki’s first time in LOOP Forum
Business Helsinki participated in the event for the first time with its own stand, designed by an interior architecture student from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The standout feature of the stand was a backdrop showcasing the of pride for Helsinki, world’s first storage building constructed entirely from reusable building components, located in Mustikkamaa.
– Helsinki participated in the event because it is important for our companies to access international markets and build connections with other international circular companies and stakeholders. LOOP Forum is the largest arena for circular economy actors in the Nordic, explains Lari Sirén from the Helsinki Circular Economy Cluster.

Benefits for participating companies
Participating in the LOOP Forum as part of the Helsinki delegation offered companies valuable international contacts and potential partners, visibility at the Helsinki exhibition stand, and insights particularly into the opportunities of Nordic circular economy market.
– We presented our DELTABEAM® Green Reuse composite beam product for sustainable construction at the Helsinki stand. For us, it was important to meet potential partners at the LOOP Forum, from architects focused on sustainability to sustainability experts and decision-makers. The event and the delegation were highly successful in every way, says Enni Karikoski, Head of Sustainability at Peikko Group.
– For Ruokomestarit, the event offered a unique opportunity to gain international visibility in interesting Nordic markets. It also led to the creation of concrete customer relationships. In addition, we gained valuable sales experience at the fair as well as important insights into customer needs and priorities – these help us develop our operations and support our company’s growth plans while ensuring the wellbeing of aquatic environments,” say Richard and Henrik Jensen from Ruokomestarit.
– It was great to witness Reverlast’s concept sparking genuine curiosity and good conversations among the broader audience of circular economy professionals. The most valuable part for us was connecting with key players in the wind turbine industry around blade decommissioning – a topic that sits at the core of what Reverlast is building, says Helena Eharand, one of the founders of Reverlast.

Business Helsinki’s participation in the LOOP Forum is coordinated by the Helsinki Circular Economy Cluster and the EU co‑funded projects Arabia Circular Hub Helsinki and Circular Buildings.
