Carry out a circular economy pilot with construction professionals
Helsinki Circular Economy Cluster Program invites companies to join an innovation challenge, looking for pilot projects to promote the circular economy in the construction industry. The application period is open until 20 October 2023.
Companies that have a solution, idea or competence that could be used to promote the circular economy in the construction industry can participate in the challenge. The solution could be related to the disassembly or reuse of structural elements or materials, or make such reuse possible.

- Reuse or intact disassembly of plate glass and windows
- Solutions related to the reuse of surface materials such as suspended ceilings
- Intact disassembly of structural elements such as columns and beams, techniques for intact disassembly
- Solutions enabling reuse during construction stage
Companies participating in the innovation challenge will receive sparring from specialists to develop their pilot proposals. The proposals will be presented in a demo event at Helsinki City Hall at the beginning of December. Helsinki Circular Economy Cluster Program will continue cooperation with the company that submits the best pilot idea, and the company will be able to pilot its solution in practice during 2024.
