Scanning Tool is developed to help developers of learning and innovation environments check the features of their own product in terms of user experience, pedagogical relevance and interoperability practices.
With the help of scanning, the developer of learning and innovation environments gets inspiration for their solution or service in terms of planning, communication and collecting feedback on issues that have been found to be significant in responsible, new learning environments through research. The tool contains a battery of statements in Finnish and English. In practice, the user of the tool gets content from the battery for their own user surveys and themes for possible workshops they organize to support product development.
In this workshop, we practice using the Scanning Tool.
Program:
13:00-13:30 Introduction to the scanning tool and its usage
13:30-14:30 Hands-on guidance on using the tool – the trainer will provide step-by-step instructions on how to implement and adapt the question sets to suit your own product development activities.
You can participate in the workshop either just for the initial part or for the entire session.
The tool is being developed based on user feedback and will be publicly released in autumn 2025 for every developer to use.
